What Tally does
Tally is a single-purpose tool for revisiting your YouTube likes. Your liked-videos list grows for years, and YouTube offers no easy way to review and clean it up. Tally gives you that: one page where you can look back at what you liked and decide whether you still agree.
How it works
- Sign in with Google — you grant Tally permission to view and manage ratings on your own YouTube account.
- See your liked videos — Tally fetches up to 50 of your most recently liked videos from the YouTube API and shows them as a grid.
- Re-rate anything — click Like or Dislike on any video. Tally sends that rating straight to your YouTube account, the same as pressing the buttons on YouTube itself.
- Revisit the conversation— click "Show comments" on any video to re-read its top public comments without leaving the page.
- Archive favorites— click "Archive" to save a video into a private "Tally Archive" playlist on your own channel (created automatically the first time).
- Tidy your playlists— the "My playlists" tab lists your playlists so you can open one and remove videos you no longer want in it.
Your data
Tally accesses only your liked-videos list and your basic profile email (shown so you know which account is connected). It has no database and keeps no copy of anything: your sign-in tokens live only in secure cookies in your own browser, and your video data is fetched fresh each visit and never stored, shared, sold, or used for advertising. Signing out removes the cookies; you can also revoke access anytime from your Google Account permissions. Full details in the privacy policy.
